On September 4, at 8am CrossFit Hilton Head and CrossFit Decatur will be participating in the 5k “Run For RET”. Trust me… I know… No excuses, except that I’m worn out and on the verge of getting sick… Lots of stress at the restaurant lately, and I haven’t been taking great care of my body in return… Looking forward to getting back into the groove Tuesday… Missed you guys!
Planning to be there at 8am Kristen. I will let you know if that changes.
Sorry I missed a great workout! Carrie, will you be working out on Monday?
Where were you ANT???
You missed a great workout.
A huge thank you to all of the folks at my Crossfit Decatur family..wish I could be there tomorrow. please know that my brotherv is watching over you as you works your butts off in his honor. Here are some fun facts about RET:
1. He never met a sport he didn’t love(he wanted to be a sportscaster when he grew up).
2. He always stuck up for the underdog.
3. He was hilarious; picture a cross between George Carlin & Adam Sandler
4. He greeted our mom each morning with” what’s up, sexy mama” & smacked her behind
5. And, he fought his cancer like the true athlete he was…. He NEVER gave up and always believed he could win.
Run for Ret and don’t give up! Cheers, Jen Newman and the Thomas Family
Dude… I’m totally there… Great WOD for a great cause…. Count me and Cafe Lily IN….
But do we have enough bars for everyone? Ha! Something tells me it will be packed that day!
But wait — what’s the “Labor Day Challenge”?
