Cowboys, Zombies, and Values

As many of you may know, I tend to be a voracious reader. My literary travels have taken me all over the map in the last year. I finally concluded a series of Anne Rice trash and moved on to stranger and more enlightening tomes. This week I finished a journal set in the near future that chronicles a Zombie Apocalypse. The book was written by a military officer as is evident by the set of values the main character displays throughout the story. You’re probably wondering what this has to do with you? This range of motion allows us to carry out basic functional movements: pushing, pulling and throwing. With that consideration, we spend a great deal of our time in our workouts performing and strengthening these fundamental movement patterns.
